Hing is London Chinatown’s history champion and tour guide. Through her reflections, the film explores Chinatown as a lived space, shaped by migration, identity, homesickness and belonging.

The documentary was originally produced for Sony’s 6-Hour Film Challenge, where it was conceived, filmed and edited within a single day. This film had a later re-edit, allowing for a more considered approach to structure, pacing, sound design and colour correction.
